How we recruit our homestay language teachers<\/h4>\n

Our homestay teachers go through a comprehensive 7-step recruitment process<\/strong>, ensuring that the highest standards of quality are maintained.<\/p><\/div>

Step 1:\u00a0<\/strong>Teachers apply to register with us. Most have a background in language teaching, and want to swap the chaos of the classroom for the control and flexibility that personalised tuition offers.<\/div><\/div>
Step 2:\u00a0<\/strong>Our academic team checks that the teacher is qualified to teach the language which they have applied to teach, according to British Council and IALC requirements.<\/div><\/div>
Step 3: <\/b>Our Director of Studies interviews the applicant teacher, to assess their teaching skills.<\/div><\/div>
Step 4: <\/strong>We check each applicant teacher's professional references.<\/div><\/div>
Step 5:\u00a0<\/b>We visit the applicant teacher in their home, to check that their accommodation is of a high standard and that they provide a warm welcome to their guests.<\/div><\/div>
Step 6:\u00a0<\/b>For Young Learner teachers, we arrange police checks and other additional vetting as required.<\/div><\/div>
Step 7:\u00a0<\/b>We construct our new teacher's profile. They are now ready to host!<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
